How can we assistyour JDMprocurement?

JDM Sourcing & Export FAQs

  • To place active bids on JDM auctions, you must first register a verified Isuka account and make a refundable security deposit. Once secured, our auction tool allows real-time bidding across all major JDM auction venues with real-time translation of inspection sheets.

  • The standard export method is via bank Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). We generate formal commercial invoices detailing costs FOB or CIF. Once a vehicle is successfully secured at auction, full invoice settlement is required within 48 hours to secure shipping space.

  • Every single vehicle purchased through Ocean Trading is subjected to rigorous JDM pre-export inspection (QISJ, EAA, or JEVIC depending on destination country requirements) prior to vessel loading. This guarantees the vehicle meets local emission, structural, and mechanical standards.

  • FOB (Free On Board) denotes the vehicle price delivered to the Japanese export port, including domestic transport and customs clearance. CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) adds maritime transport freight and marine cargo insurance to your selected destination port.

  • Yes. Ocean Trading maintains active regional clearing partnerships in Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Maputo, and Kingston. Our licensed clearing agents assist directly with customs documentation, duty assessments, and final port release procedures.
